World of Warcraft was released in November 2004. Aus started shortly after that, on Novemeber 25th 05. Guild leader then was Enfz, who created the guild, and several of the members still here with us today were the ones to sign the charter. And so on will add more later ^^

| Ranks

Ranks are assigned by service to the guild, not your personal char level/skill, and not time spent in the guild. Generally speaking members with a low level main won't have a high guild rank. This is because if you main is a low rank you probably have not spent much time actually playing even tho you may have been in the guild a long time. There are exceptions and some mains spend 90% of their time helping others rather than levelling themselves. For the same reason, even though player level is not directly rewarded by rank, the fact that you generally have participated more with guild groups will tend to mean your guild rank is higher. eg. lvl60s spend almost all their time doing 5-40 man instances and almost no solo questing. The levels in the ranks below are only a rough guide as to when you would likely be able to be awarded a rank not when you should expect it.

| Why Haven't I been promoted?

Some reasons;
- you never say anything in chat, we don't even know you're on.
- you never party or offer to party with guild members.
- you never offer your profession's goods.
- you never organise or run instances.
- an officer (prolly soobah) screwed up and made a mistake.

What else can you do;
- ask a higher rank to recommend you for promotion.
- ask an officer to consider you for a promotion and tell them why you think youm deserve it based on the above ranks.
- be more involved in guild chat particularly with regards to questing and instances and professions.

| What this guild expects from you

This guild is about fun. It's about combining talents and skills to make the whole greater than the sum of the individuals. This guild is a TEAM. If you expect to get something out of the guild, you have to put something into it. This does not mean DPS against mobs, nor does it mean PVP rank, nor who has the best gear. It means running instances when you know there's nothing that's going to drop that you can use. It means making your crafting skills known and available. It means answering questions by lower ranks in guild chat. It means passing on an item you could use but that someone else will get more benefit from. It means maximising your teamwork over your personal play. It means being socially active.

It means putting the guild's needs first - because eventually your needs will in fact be the guild's needs. We need all of our people to have the best gear they can get. We can't run 40 man stuff if our ppl have poor gear, but it's important the gear goes to the most suited person available. Investing your time in the guild will repay you many times more because this game is not a solo experience.
